Basketball Programs Update
"The shooting machine" is fixed, operational, and ready for work! This is a huge benefit for both our Boys and Girls Basketball programs. More reps in less time means our student-athletes can elevate their game, refine their shooting mechanics, and expand their overall skill sets on the court.
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
Coach Santuan and Coach Mikey recently led a highly productive discussion with student leaders representing ACA athletic programs. The group engaged in meaningful leadership exercises and discussed the potential for additional sports, as well as the positives and areas for growth within their current programs. It's great to see our student-athletes stepping up as leaders!
Amazing Pep Rally!
The school spirit and class pride were off the charts this week! All classes competed in unique game competitions for the coveted "Spirit Stick." Shoutout: A special shoutout to Coach Schildt for his impromptu, high-energy move using the Spirit Stick to point at the classes, it perfectly induced spirit and enthusiasm for ACA! Another massive thank you to the Student Council, who did an amazing job organizing and executing an elite Pep Rally.
Football Updates
JV Football
The JV squad played a tough game on the road at Hartsville. While they came up short on the scoreboard, the team showed incredible grit, fought hard until the final whistle, and gained valuable experience that will make them stronger for the future. Keep your heads up, Armada!
Varsity Football: Homecoming & Senior Night!
We celebrated a beautiful Homecoming and Senior Night under the lights at Ashley Booth against Hartsville. It was an evening filled with big emotions for our senior players, their families, and their friends. Thank you to everyone who packed the stands to support our seniors and help create a special moment they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
