Georgetown, SC – The Atlantic Collegiate Academy girls golf team remained unbeaten in match play events on Tuesday with a 63-shot victory over Georgetown High at Wedgefield Country Club.
The Armada finished the event with a team score of 167. ACA was led by senior
Hannah Lowery with a two-under par 34.
"In every match this season the girls have improved, and that is what it's all about," ACA coach
Bailey Paske said. "Being undefeated in matches this season is an amazing accomplishment for our first year with a golf program. I couldn't be prouder to coach these girls."

After starting with consecutive bogeys on the first two holes, Lowrey settled down to card birdies on the fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth holes.
In addition to Lowery, sophomore
Clara Beth Brady finished with a three-over par 39, freshman
Bella Stroupe had a 45 and senior
Avery Zygo posted a 49.
The Armada now has a couple of weeks to get ready before competing at the SCHSL Class 2A State Championship, which is scheduled for October 28-29 at Chester Golf Club in Chester, SC.
"We have some work to do before we head to Chester," Paske said. "Our girls are excited to compete for a state title and we will get to work later this week. For now, I am going to let them enjoy having an undefeated match season. They deserve that."
