Atlantic Collegiate Academy (ACA), located in Horry County, has been recognized for its exceptional programs aimed at keeping student-athletes injury-free.
 
As the exclusive healthcare partner, McLeod Health collaborates with Atlantic Collegiate Academy to deliver comprehensive sports medicine coverage to its student-athletes. McLeod is committed to ensuring a safe environment and providing necessary medical support for all 300 student-athletes at ACA when injuries arise.
 
The teams at McLeod Orthopedics Seacoast and McLeod Sports Medicine offer services directly on the sidelines, delivering high-quality, compassionate orthopedic care.
 
The Safe Sports School Award acknowledges secondary schools across the nation that implement vital measures to protect their athletes from injuries.
 
In conjunction with McLeod Health, Atlantic Collegiate Academy's student-athletes work with Dana Woodard, Athletic Trainer for ACA at McLeod Health Orthopedics, and Trevor Hess, Program Coordinator for McLeod Orthopedics on a daily basis to make sure they are fit and ready to compete for the Armada.
