Conway, SC – As we finished our 2024-25 Mission by ending the school year, we went out on top.
Last week we had a beautiful graduation ceremony as we shipped off our seniors onto their next journeys in life. We wish them all the best of luck as they go onto college, serve our country in our armed forces and into the work force. We graduated 55 amazing young adults who are going to make our community and world a better place.
The 2025 class earned a total of 779 Dual Enrollment college credits! We also had Owen Heafner, our first student ever to earn an associate degree at ACA.
Our senior class has also given back to our community with more than 1,780 Community services hours. Our 55 graduates earned more than $1.6 million in scholarships. We are so proud of them and can't wait to see what they all accomplish on their journeys through life.
This last week, after students finished their EOCEP and final exams, we held our first Armada Olympic games. It was a lot of fun seeing students compete against each other in fun games such as pie eating competitions, tug of war, and volleyball, plus many more.
The Armada Olympics
The inaugural Armada Olympics took place on June 2-3 and, despite the low number of students who attended school, the event grew to create excitement late in the school year.
There were 20 events the students competed in ranging from Spelling Bee to Flag Football. It was class versus class as each class earned points depending on how they placed in each event. After two days of competition, the Freshmen (Class of 2028) came out on top with a total of 510 points. Second place went to the Sophomores (Class of 2027) with 430 points.
One of the biggest highlights was Officer Clint taking on the AM and PM champions in a pie eating contest. Clint had earned the title "King of Pie Eating" last year and was set to defend his title, only to be uprooted by Sophomore Kailin Buehler.
Summer operation hours for ACA are 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The Anchor
We need help to place, stabilize and secure our new anchor under the flagpole.
This past week we were lucky enough to get an anchor. Now we need to stabilize, secure our anchor to the ground and weld it into place to stand up the way we want it to. If anyone can help us out by welding and stabilizing our anchor (into a poured concrete base) please reach out to Dr. McKinley at
cmckinley@acaarmada.org
Thank You!
I want to thank you all so much for the last three years. We all worked together to build The Armada and I am very grateful that you had faith in Atlantic Collegiate Academy and trusted us with your child's education. It took a lot of blood, sweat, tears, grit, determination and sacrifice to build it. We created an amazing team and staff who care about students.
I am very proud and excited to see ACA grow under Dr. McKinley and her leadership. In the last two years I have worked with Dr. McKinley, and she is going to be an amazing principal. The school I was going to open next year in Hardeeville will not open as planned. My new role with Pinnacle Charter Academies will be as Director of Academics and Accountability for all our schools. In this role I will be working with our schools, including Atlantic Collegiate Academy, daily and will be working with our school boards.
I am so excited to still be a part of ACA and working with the administrative team. I know ACA will keep striving to achieve as we increase our academics and athletics.
