Mullins, SC - The Atlantic Collegiate Academy volleyball team made its season debut on Tuesday night, sweeping Mullins High in straight sets.
The Armada dominated the opening game, winning 25-4 and following with an equally strong performance in the second game, winning 25-8. Mullins put up a little more fight in the third game, but the Armada prevailed 25-14 to complete th sweep of the match.

The Armada will have a quick turnaround, making the trip down to Mt. Pleasant on Thursday for a match against Oceanside Collegiate Academy. The Landsharks are off to a 2-3 start on the season after playing in the North Myrtle Beach Border Battle.
"We are going to have to play much cleaner to beat an experienced Oceanside team," Church said.
The match Thursday night is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
