Manning, SC – The Atlantic Collegiate Academy volleyball teams continued to play well on Tuesday night, sweeping both the varsity and JV matches from region rival Manning High.
The junior varsity squad started the night with a solid performance in a 2-0 victory. The Armada won the opening set 25-12 and then closed out the match with a 25-16 victory in the second set.
"We extended our win streak to three," JV coach Justin Stack said. "We worked on changing the lineup a little bit and the players were able to adapt. We had some sloppy play in the second set, but we were able to recover with strong serving."

Halle Bain had a team best three service aces in the match while freshmen Simone Fredrick and
Sophia Pimentel had three kills each.
The Armada varsity followed up, posting its 11
th consecutive win, sweeping the match with scores of 25-5, 25-10 and 25-12.
Both teams will be back in action tonight when they travel to Turbeville to face another region foe, East Clarendon. The JV match is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start with the varsity to follow at 7 p.m.
