ACA football had another road contest prior to the week off. The Armada headed to Richburg, SC, to take on Lewisville High School on Sept. 6. Unfortunately, it was not the outcome we were hoping for as the Armada dropped the contest by a score of 54-0. It was the third loss of the early season for the young Armada, but they are looking to get in the win column for the first time this season this Friday. There were some bright spots on both sides of the ball and ACA is looking to build on those this Friday they matchup with Mullins High School in what will be the first ever regional game for ACA.Â

The first ACA Athlete of The Month for 2024-25 is
Gavin Dufour. Gavin is a Senior quarterback for the Armada football team and recently suffered an injury that will have him on the sidelined for several weeks at a minimum. Through all the hurdles, Gavin continues to be a hard worker and positive influence on the team from a support perspective and is a great student through it all.Â
Â
Senior Gavin Dufour poses with Dean of Academics Jason Keller, AD William Payne and Principal Mike Lorenz after being named Student-Athlete of the Month for August.
The Cross Country Club will be entering its second week of practice. If you are interested and have not yet contacted Coach Payne yet about running with the club, please do so as soon as possible. We will be exploring entering various 5K events and need an accurate head count on number of participants.
Â
REMINDER: ALL ACA ATHLETES ARE REQUIRED TO PAY A $75 SPORTS FEE PRIOR TO PLAYING IN AN OFFICIAL CONTEST. PLEASE ASK YOUR COACH IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.Â
Â
If you are an ACA student-athlete, or hope to become one this year, and you haven't completed our online biographical questionnaire, please do so as soon as possible. If you completed the form last year, you DO NOT need to complete it again unless there have been changes that you want to include.
Â
THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL AND IS GOING TO BE REQUIRED GOING FORWARD.
