Conway, SC – The Atlantic Collegiate Academy volleyball team wasted no time in imparting its dominance over visiting Lake City Early College High on Thursday night at "The Flight Deck".
In fact, the Armada played an almost flawless match in posting a 3-0 victory over the Panthers. ACA dominated in the first two sets, winning 25-6 and 25-1, before clinching the match with a 25-12 victory in the third set.
"We played much cleaner and limited errors tonight against an athletic and hardworking team," Armada head coach
Larry Church said. "I am proud of our ability to focus. Our less experienced players were able to go in and contribute when they got the opportunity."
The Armada improved to 6-2-2 overall on the season and to 3-0 in Region 7-AA play.
