Lexington, SC – The Atlantic Collegiate Academy girls' basketball team opened the 2024-25 season over the Thanksgiving break in the A1 Hoops She Got Next Tournament with games against Lower Richland High and Northwood Academy.
The Armada struggled for first-year coach
Bill Zatulskis in the opening game, falling behind Class AAAA Lower Richland 24-6 in the opening quarter of play on Friday. ACA battled to a near draw in the second quarter but trailed the Hornets 41-21 at halftime. Lower Richland padded its lead in the second half to win the game 65-33.
