Conway, SC – The Atlantic Collegiate Academy boys' basketball team bounced back from a pair of two-point losses in the last week with a dominating performance in a victory over Clear Dot Charter on Wednesday night.
The Armada (4-2) jumped out to a commanding 20-point lead in the opening quarter and rolled to a 87-44 victory over the visiting Bats (1-2).
"We needed a game like this where everyone had the opportunity to play and contribute," Armada coach
Tanner Massey said. "There are still many things to clean up, but we went into the game with an emphasis on playing with sound habits. It was about us."
After taking a big early lead, the Armada relaxed some in the second quarter, taking a 47-28 lead into halftime. The second half was all ACA as the Bats managed to score just five points in the third quarter and 16 total in the second half.
