Pinnacle Charter Academies has named Jessica Burkett to fill the role of Business Support Coordinator.
Burkett will support all Pinnacle Charter Academies with business operations under Director of Finance Erik Miller.
A native of Lexington, South Carolina, Burkett attended Swansea High School where she was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Future Farmers of America, the Beta Club and the National Honor Society. She played soccer and tennis in high school and graduated with honors at the top of her class before earning an Associate’s of Applied Science in Accounting at Midlands Technical College in 2016. She went on from there to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2023.
In addition to her degrees, Burkett also received a Montessori Certification in Nido/EC which she most recently used as an EC Educator and Program Facilitator at The Montessori School of Camden.
Her professional experience also includes five years as an Accounting Assistant in the office of Donald P. Howard, CPA. She also has done seasonal work as an Accounting Assistant at 2TaxLaw.
Burkett and her husband, Ethan, have one child, Henley, as well as pair of dogs – Spartan and Trapper. She enjoys playing tennis and ultimate frisbee.
