Born in Rapid City, SD, Bryan Lenertz grew up like a lot of kids in the United States, wanting to be a baseball player.
He was an athlete at Buckingham County High in Virginia, but when he went to Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va., he was focused on academics, completing his bachelor's degree in Accounting in 1999.
Lenertz moved to Myrtle Beach to work in the lucrative real estate market, but soon moved over to the banking industry. He has worked at Anderson Brothers Bank in Horry County, serving as Vice President while working in commercial and construction banking services.
He became a part of the Atlantic Collegiate Academy planning committee after looking into sister schools at Oceanside Collegiate and Legion Collegiate and understanding the educational and athletics opportunities the school will be able to provide students in Horry County.
