Ralique Murphy joined the Atlantic Collegiate Academy coaching staff for the 2024-25 school year as an assistant coach for the boys' basketball teams, both varsity and junior varsity.
A native of Columbia, SC, Murphy attended Lugoff Elgin High where he participated in multiple sports, but was primarily focused on basketball. His plan was to either become a basketball coach, or a zoologist.
Instead of studying animals, he became an entrepreneur, opening his own sneaker store. He has also spent time working for the state transportation police.
He is the product of a military family and is engaged to Shaylah Hoillingsworth. He has a pocket pitbull named Titan.
