Dear ACA Families,
We hope you have had a wonderful summer and have enjoyed spending time with family and friends. As we prepare to begin the 2026–27 school year, we are excited to welcome everyone back for Year 4 of Atlantic Collegiate Academy! We look forward to another year of academic excellence, meaningful relationships, and continued growth as a school community. As we prepare for the first day of school, we would like to share some important information.
Student Onboarding
We will be emailing families next week with parent and student Powerschool login information. With that login, families can see their student's academic schedule. In addition we invite you to the follow days below for additional onboarding information.

Thursday, August 6, 2026 | Drop-Ins
- Returning ACA students should come to campus at the following times to receive laptops and parking passes:
- Rising Seniors: 9-10 AM
- \Rising Juniors: 10-11 AM\
- Rising Sophomores: 11 AM-12 PM
During Onboarding, families will have the opportunity to:
- Ask questions about student schedules
- Clarify PowerSchool login information
- Pick up student Chromebooks
- Receive or purchase parking passes (if applicable)
- Connect with teachers and staff and have any questions answered before the school year begins
ACA Town Hall Meeting
At 5:30 PM on Thursday, August 6, ACA families are invited to attend our ACA Town Hall Meeting with our leadership team.
This will be an opportunity to:
- Meet our new Principal, Dr. Hartnett
- Hear about the vision and direction of Atlantic Collegiate Academy for the 2026–2027 school year
- Learn about important initiatives and updates
- Ask questions and engage directly with ACA leadership
We encourage all families to attend as we work together to make this our best year yet.
Stay Connected
Communication between home and school is essential to a successful school year. We encourage families to stay informed by:
- Visiting the ACA website regularly
- Monitoring emails from the school
- Following the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Facebook page for announcements, reminders, and celebrations
South Carolina Personal Electronic Device Policy
Beginning this school year, Atlantic Collegiate Academy will continue to follow the South Carolina Department of Education's statewide Personal Electronic Device Policy.
During instructional hours, cell phones, smart watches, headphones, and earbuds are not permitted in academic hallways or classrooms. We appreciate your partnership in helping us provide a focused learning environment where students can fully engage in instruction.
Additional information regarding school procedures and expectations will continue to be shared as we approach the start of the school year.
