Conway, SC - Atlantic Collegiate Academy was honored to welcome Md. Barbara Blain, Mayor of Conway, to campus last week. During her visit, Mayor Blain toured the school, met with students and staff and saw first hand the innovated learning and strong community that define ACA.
We are grateful for Mayor Blain's continued support of education and our local schools.
Upcoming Schedule
Next week is our final week of classes before the winter break. The last day of in-person instruction will be on Thursday, December 18. We will have a Flex day on Friday, December 19, before starting our break. Students will return to campus for the start of the spring semester on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Registration and enrollment for the 2026-27 school year will also begin in January and run through the end of the month.
Transition to South Carolina Public Charter School District
We are pleased to share important news regarding the future of our school. The South Carolina Public Charter School District (SC PCSD) has officially approved our request to transfer from the Limestone Charter Association. This transition became necessary due to Limestone University closing after more than 180 years of service.
Â
This decision comes after thoughtful consideration and collaboration, and we are confident this transition will support our long-term stability and continued growth. The SC PCSD has a strong record of providing guidance, resources, and accountability to charter schools across the state, and we look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring for our students, staff, and families.
Â
For more information on the South Carolina Public Charter School District, visit their website at https://sccharter.org/ .
Â
Please know this approval does not change your child's daily school experience. Our mission, values, and commitment to academic excellence remain unchanged. What will change is the level of support and oversight we receive, which we believe will strengthen our school community moving forward.
Â
We will continue to keep you informed throughout the transition process. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our school office. Thank you for your continued trust and support.

If you are not participating in Armada Olympics, you will be in class.
