Good Afternoon Armada,
We just wanted to thank all of you for your patience as we navigate through these rough waters this week and remind all students of their Google Meet Monday morning. The schedule for each grade level meeting as well as all teachers Google Classroom codes are posted below. Please, only have one login per household.
Parents, students and siblings are all welcome to join the Google Classroom, but again please share the screen. Google Meets only hold 100 logins and we need all students to have access to this valuable information. Additionally if you're having any problems logging into your laptop or accessing Powerschool, please reach out to itsupport@acaarmada.org for help.
For the next four days, Monday August 19 through Thursday August 22, we will be doing online learning. On Friday, August 23, we will have face to face classes in our new school!
I know some students might be anxious or nervous coming into the new school building without being in there before. Our school layout is very simple, it has one floor and has only two hallways with a total of 17 classrooms. We will make sure we direct every student to their classes. This is just another advantage being in a small school setting.
Below in this document is the google classroom codes for every teacher and their class periods. Look at your class schedule and find your teacher below and what period you have.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to get into your teacher's google classroom.

Go to classroom.google.com.

Make sure to sign in with your ACA Armada account. Your email for ACA is your first name.last name (John.smith) @acaarmada.org. On your school device this is the only email that should be on there. If you add a personal or another student's email, there will be a consequence.

Once in Google Classroom, at the top you will see , click Join class:

Enter the class code from your teacher and click Join.
Tip: Class codes are 6-to-8 characters, and use letters and numbers. Codes can't have spaces or special symbols.
Students are expected to go to their Google Classrooms where the teacher will communicate with them. Teachers in their Google classroom will have Google meet links in which they will be able to get on Google meet and be able to meet their students and discuss classroom information.
Students should get onto their Google classrooms at the same time as our school bell schedule. So, if you are in third period, you should be in your google classroom from 9:52 to 10:45 a.m. If a student is having trouble, do not panic or stress out because there will be a lot of bugs to work out in this process.
By the end of the day if a student does not get into their Google classroom, the teacher will reach out to that student. No student will be marked absent if there is a schedule situation or technology problem. Also, during the first three days, our teachers will be focusing on our student handbook and beginning to build positive relationships with their students. We ask you all for your patience and understanding.
