Atlantic Collegiate Academy’s newest adjunct professor in English comes to the Armada after earning a pair of degrees from Coastal Carolina University.

Falicya Crace was born in Ohio, but is a South Carolinian at heart. She grew up in Chapin, competing on the track team, while also playing in the marching band and working on the school newspaper.

“ACA is very lucky to have an amazing adjunct professor who has been at HGTC and at Coastal Carolina University.” Principal Mike Lorenz said. “I know she will do an outstanding job working with our dual enrollments to help prepare them for life after high school.”

After high school she attended USC Upstate to compete on the track & field team as a thrower before transferring to Coastal Carolina University where she completed her bachelor’s degree in communications and media studies in 2015.

She remained in Conway, working as a teaching assistant for English 101 and 102 while completing requirements for her master’s degree in writing. She has continued in her role as an adjunct professor and tutor at Horry-Georgetown Technical College since 2018.

Crace and her husband, Ridge Moss, have a pair of pit bulls named Goose and Maverick. She is a fan of Agatha Christie and the Harry Potter series.
